Take a long walk along the inner trails of the refuge and along the beaches. This refuge protects some of the region’s most endangered flora and fauna. One of the best trips for wildlife viewing in the whole of Costa Rica, a humid tropical rain forest with the only natural mangrove oyster beds found along the reefs of the coast. This tour will take you on some of the Refuge’s quiet jungle trails, or you can explore the bluffs and tiny hidden miradors along the coast. Go early for the best opportunity for exquisite bird watching. Start 8:00AM in Manzanillo, if you want start before 8am just ask!
