Yorkín is a community in the heart of the Talamanca Indigenous Territory on the upper part of the Yorkín river. Parting from the town of Bambú, a trip in a traditional dugout canoe starts this unique opportunity to share and learn from a culture struggling to maintain its identity. Participate in the daily life, take interpretive hikes, practice basket weaving, the preparation of traditional meals, the chocolate production and roof thatching. Learn some of the BriBri language, history and folklore from ancient times. Spend a night in their traditional lodge and leave the community again by dugout canoe.
