The Dururpe Overnight Tour offers visitors the opportunity to experience Bribri culture and traditions while spending a night in the community. Guests can choose from a variety of cultural activities, including traditional jícaro (gourd) craft-making, sugarcane grinding and cacao processing. Other experiences include learning about medicinal plants, the history of the community, the cultural significance of the traditional conical house and an introduction to the Bribri language.
In addition to the cultural activities, visitors stay overnight in a traditional hut within the community, offering the opportunity to spend more time in the surroundings and experience a different way of life.
The tour includes boat and ground transportation, meals, accommodation in a traditional hut and a local Spanish-speaking guide who shares knowledge about Bribri culture and traditions throughout the visit.
