Cancellation policy for day tours

  • Cancellations made a minimum of 3 days (72 hours) in advance of the tour will receive a full refund less 25% administrative exenses.
  • Cancellations made a minimum of 24 hoursin advance will receive reimbursement of 50% of tour.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will receive no refund.Any claims about the performance of a guide, please do so at the offices of ATEC or by email at least within 24 hours after the tour.
  • All Cancellations made in advance and isn’t under other policy will receive refund 85% of payment.

Cancellations for tours longer than one day and packages

  • Cancellations made a minimum of one month in advance will receive a refund of all tour value less 25% for administrative expenses.
  • Cancellations made a minimum of 15 days in advance will receive a 50% refund.
  • Cancellations made a minimum of 1 week in advance will receive a 15% refund.
  • Cancellations made less than one week in advance of the scheduled tour will receive no refund.
  • No-shows or unused room nights are non-refundable, regardless of the season.
  • Last-minute bookings are non-refundable.
  • All Cancellations made in advance and isn’t under other policy will receive refund 85% of payment.

**Our guides don’t work in our office. Many of them have other jobs, they are mothers and fathers, fishermen and Captains, they are instructors and business owners and they all have busy lives. To plan a tour takes preperation and often means the guides have to make arrangements prior to the tour dates. It is important that we give them notice if a tour is cancelled or changed and when insufficient notice is given, it is important that they are still paid for their time.
