Starting at sunrise near the river mouth at Punta Uva Beach, guests paddle inland along the calm river, surrounded by lush tropical vegetation.
The early morning hours offer excellent opportunities to observe wildlife, including sloths, river turtles, iguanas, Jesus Christ lizards (basilisks), monkeys and many other animals. Accompanied by a local guide equipped with binoculars, guests can take their time observing wildlife along the riverbanks and in the surrounding trees.
After exploring the river, the group turns around and paddles back to the starting point. The calm water, cool morning air and peaceful atmosphere make this a relaxing and memorable nature experience.
